Directions from our home town of Buckley (approximate journey time of 1 hour):
Take the A55 (access near Dobshill) towards Chester. Turn off onto the A483 to Wrexham, until you come to the junction with the A5, where at the roundabout you should take the 2nd exit to the A5. Along the A5, take the A458 to Welshpool. Once you turn onto the A458, the turn for Rowton Castle is about 4 miles on the right - it is signposted off the main road.
Directions from Manchester (approximate journey time of 90-105 mins):
Take the M56 towards Chester. Leave the M56 at junction 15 (signposted Chester) to join the M53 (south). M53, Junction 12, is the end of the motorway. Keep forward on the A55 (signposted North Wales, Wrexham). Turn off onto the A483 to Wrexham, until you come to the junction with the A5, where at the roundabout you should take the 2nd exit to the A5. Along the A5, take the A458 to Welshpool. Directions from the south:
